The Glimmerglass Festival, a summer destination in Upstate New York where audiences from around the world come to experience world-class opera and musical theater, is currently hiring for our Summer Seasonal Department Managers and select Staff*.

Various opportunities are available in our A/V, Costumes, Lighting, Scenic Carpentry, Scenic Art, Stage Management, and Rigging Departments.

The Glimmerglass Festival offers company-provided housing, an engaging and collaborative work environment, multiple training opportunities throughout the season, and access to the Glimmerglass Wellness Program.

Our Seasonal Apprentice Program and Position Information will be posted December 8, 2026, with applications opening January 5, 2027. There are several opportunities available across our Artistic Administration, Company Administration, and Production Departments! The Apprenticeship Program provides a unique combination of practical work, mentorship, and educational programs, each designed to further professional growth. Our Apprenticeship Program is geared toward participants, ages 18 and over, who would like to continue to grow and pursue professional opportunities in their chosen field.
