Merchandise Seller (with Wardrobe + Laundry Support)
A Taste of Ireland presents A Celtic Christmas, US Tour 2026

A Taste of Ireland is looking for a friendly, outgoing Merchandise Seller to join our A Celtic Christmas tour across the USA this holiday season.

You'll be the face of our merchandise every night and often one of the first people our audiences meet. If you love chatting with people, are proud of a good-looking display and get a buzz from a busy foyer, this is the role for you.

DATES
Travel: 1 November 2026
Start: 2 November 2026 (rehearsals in Nashville, TN)
Finish: 23 December 2026, flying home 24 December

PAY
$900 to $1,000 USD per week, depending on experience
$420 USD per week per diems
Travel and shared accommodation covered while on tour

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Merchandise (the main part of the role)
- Set up and style the merch stand at every venue, including banners, backdrops and our new Christmas range
- Sell before the show, at intermission and at the post-show cast meet and greet
- Take card payments on Square POS (easy to learn, and we'll train you)
- Track stock, restock the display and reconcile sales after each show
- Talk with our audiences. Many of them love sharing their own Irish connections

Wardrobe and laundry (support duties)
- Get the cast laundry on when you arrive at the venue
- Dry costumes and get them ready for steaming, with help from the cast
- Do minor repairs as needed

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bubbly, warm and confident chatting with strangers
- A natural salesperson who enjoys a busy, fast-paced environment
- Organised and takes pride in how things look
- Reliable and self-motivated, takes ownership of the stand
- Calm under pressure and a quick problem solver
- Easygoing and adaptable, comfortable on the road with the same company for 8 weeks
- A positive team player who adds to a great company culture

Retail, front of house or events experience is a bonus. A theatre or dance background is a plus too. Basic sewing skills are helpful but not essential.

REQUIREMENTS
- Legal right to live and work in the USA
- Available for the full tour dates
- Comfortable with shared hotel accommodation and long bus travel
- Some short domestic flights may be involved
