North Country Center for the Arts (NCCA) at Jean's Playhouse is seeking a Stitcher / Wardrobe for our upcoming professional production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL: The Musical!

This position combines costume alterations and preparation during rehearsals with backstage wardrobe responsibilities during performances. We're looking for someone who is comfortable working both at a sewing machine and behind the scenes!

Responsibilities include:

+bull; Costume fittings, alterations, and repairs, under the supervision of the Designer
+bull; Preparing and organizing costumes for the production
+bull; Maintaining, laundering, and repairing costumes throughout the run
+bull; Basic wig maintenance + make up
+bull; Assisting performers with dressing and quick changes backstage
+bull; Managing wardrobe needs during performances
+bull; Assisting with costume strike at the conclusion of the production

***Please note this is the 4th year of producing A CHRISTMAS CAROL, so the costumes already exist, we are simply altering them to fit the new company.

Ideal candidates will have strong sewing skills, theatrical wardrobe experience, excellent organizational abilities, and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced professional theatre environment.

Dates: November 30 through December 20, 2026 (3 weeks)

Compensation: $400 / week, travel stipend, and shared housing
