Shawnee Theatre, a 250-seat summer-stock theatre in Indiana, is seeking a Technical Director / Master Carpenter. Our scene shop is attached to the theatre.

Responsibilities include:
Build and assemble sets for multiple productions
Order and manage lumber, hardware, and other materials
Lead crews during construction, installation, and strike
Maintain the scene shop, tools, and equipment
Handle scenic and rigging repairs as needed
Train crews and enforce safe shop/tool practices
Work closely with scenic designers and the production team

Season: Come From Away- June 17-27th, Two By Two - July 1-11th, Wizard of Oz - July 22-Aug 1st.

Industry pay + onsite housing available.
