Broadway Rose Theatre Company is looking to expand its pool of overhire carpenters, electricians, and show crew for the 2026 and 2027 seasons! Broadway Rose produces six mainstage shows a year out of our facility in Tigard, Oregon. All positions are paid and would work on our stage or in our scenic shop at 12850 SW Grant Avenue.

Carpenters and electricians are paid an hourly rate between $17.50 and $25 depending on skill and experience. Carpenters assist in constructing sets for our shows under the direction of our Technical Director and Scene Shop Manager, using power tools, saws, lifts, welding equipment, and more. Electricians hang, focus, and run cable according to the lighting designer's plot and with the direction of our Assistant Technical Director, using ladders and lifts. Carpenters and electricians typically operate on weekdays between 9:00am-5:30pm.

Show crew positions, which include deckhands, spotlight operators, light board operators, and dressers, are paid a stipend that ranges from $1750 to $2200 depending on position and length of the show run. Show crew operate under the direction of our Production Stage Manager and are additionally asked to perform pre- and post-show duties including sweeping, mopping, pre-setting props and costumes, and participating in strike. Show crew typically operate on weekday evenings and weekend days and evenings. Our shows run for four to six weeks.
