This is NOT a traditional scenic painting job. It is more akin to commercial painting (flat surfaces, single colors, etc), as we are an event rental company. We are veryyyy busy in September and October and need some supplemental team members to cover the season. Open to multiple skill levels - we will have you come in for a paid test day before permanent hiring. We are looking for kind, self-starting, hard workers who are eager to learn and assist our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience painting with sprayers and brushes, staining wood, stripping and sanding furniture, and be able to pitch in and help prepare and pull rental orders when needed.

**This is a Seasonal Position. Seasonal Employees can expect to work 15-30 hours per week.**

In our busy season (April-June; September-November) this position will be Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm, 3-5 days/week.

During our slow months (July-August; December-March) this position will not be needed and you will not be scheduled.

Responsibilities:
Paint + touch up furniture, bars, shelves, and backdrops before orders
Clean furniture of wax, marks, etc before painting
Help pull orders to the paint floor

Qualifications:
Bi-lingual Spanish and English speaking preferred, but not required.
Experience using paint sprayers and brushes
Experience sanding, staining, stripping furniture
A positive, problem-solving attitude, works well with others
Dependable and punctual
Meticulous attention to detail
Ready to pitch in wherever needed at SVR
Comfortable working as part of diverse team
Reliable transportation to our warehouse in Temple Hills, MD
Must be legal to work in USA

Compensation:

$19.00- $21.00 hr
Overtime is 1.5x
Accrued PTO
