The plot follows the unexpected return of their grandson, Vince, who arrives with his girlfriend, Shelly, after six years of absence. A deep sense of confusion and madness unfolds when no one in the house+mdash;not even his own father, Tilden+mdash;recognizes Vince. As Shelly navigates the bizarre household, she gradually uncovers a dark and macabre family secret: years ago, Dodge and Halie had an illegitimate child. Driven by shame and a desire to hide the scandal, Dodge drowned the baby and buried the body in the backyard.
