Cedar Point, one of the oldest amusement parks in the country, is looking for energetic, creative, driven staff for it's 2026 season. Each year, Cedar Point's Live Entertainment division produces over 15 productions including interactive/immersive shows, music reviews, cover bands, special events, and more! We are looking for talented and passionate individuals to be part of our Fall production team.

Reports to: Properties Supervisor + Location Manager
Responsibilities*:
- Organize, prepare, pre-set and strike all prop tables, and props for assigned haunted attraction.
- Execute an assigned prop or puppetry track while the haunted attraction is in operation, ensuring that props are reset in a quick and efficient manner.
- Communicate daily needs with team leadership, including any and all necessary repairs, equipment or materials.
- Coordinate with production/event leadership for overall success of event.
- Ensure the longevity and integrity of event/production props.
- Willing to take constructive criticism and be open to learning new methods.
- Maintain confidentiality related to company and production information.
- Maintain a neat workspace.
- Working in tight areas may be required from time to time.
- Adheres to safety standards with PPE - Mandatory adherence.
- Follow and execute a pre-assigned prop list, track, and/or check list.
- Maintain consistency with prop operations from day to day.
- Be in compliance with OSHA safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Adhere to and uphold Costume, Props, + Park policy.
- Conduct inspections of performers using props, while in rehearsals and operation.
- Conduct as needed/daily maintenance of production props.
- Must be present for all necessary rehearsal periods.
- Must be able to work nights, mornings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Any other and all duties deemed necessary by management pertaining to the Costume/Prop and Performance Departments.

Education + Experience:
- Pursuing or having obtained a vocational degree in Props or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background and work experience is preferred but not required.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Props or Theater in either an Educational or Professional setting.
Skills**:
- Maintain positive attitude, high level of organizational, strong communication skills, problem solving skills, and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Thrive in a deadline centered environment.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of prop construction and repairs - this includes materials such as various foams, thermal and non-thermal plastics, various paint treatments, various adhesives, paper crafts, and some fibers, sewing skills are a bonus.
- Open to learning new skills.
- Must be able to take instructions in a professional and positive manner.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and maintain a professional work ethic.
- Must be able to work in a collaborative environment.
**Please note: Our Props crew does not do any Carpentry work or repairs, as our Park Carpenters are Union. This includes any and all set pieces, furniture, or any other wood-based projects that require power tools or other heavy machinery.
