Binghamton University Theater is seeking Scenic Artist who also had good Carpentry skills to fill a combination Scenic Artist/Assistant Technical Director position.

They will participate in the building, movement, and installation of stage scenery and be responsible for painting or supervising students+rsquo; painting the scenery as designed by the Scenic Designer for the production.

Required:
Bachelor+rsquo;s Degree
Experience working in a paint shop/scene shop in a professional and/or academic setting
Have basic theatrical carpentry skills.
Have demonstrated painting skills as supported by portfolio/samples.
Have demonstrated ability to research and develop new skills
