A 1300 person theater in manhattan is looking for capable lighting designers/operators with at least 2 years work experience. Must be in the the NYC area.

This space hosts about 120-130 events per year.

- Proficient with ETC lighting systems

- Ability to program shows

- Able to change out lamps on a variety of lights

- able to program cues

- able to build cues on the fly

- ability to work in a fast paced environment

- comfortable with use of a genie and ladder; sometimes the day-of an event to make necessary repairs or adjustments,if needed.

- skill/knowledge in other aspects of AV such as video (PTZ controller),
streaming and/or audio a bonus.

- ability to lift up to 40lbs

- available on weekends, especially on Sundays

- experience in houses of worship, corporate, conferences and live performances venues a must.

- 2/3 years of work experience in a theater/touring/professional event space.

* this is gig work, and not a permanent position. Lighting Techs are booked on a per-show basis.
