Internship: Audio Lighting Video Live Event Tour Technician

UpLight Technologies is accepting applications for paid, hands-on internships for Nashville-based live audio, lighting, and LED video technicians. The internship supports the 2027 Winter Cheer Competition tour season, from November 2026 - April 2027.

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age by November 1, 2026 and submit to a background check.

What You+rsquo;ll Do:
Build, operate, and strike real audio, LED video, and lighting systems
Support live touring events
Work alongside experienced technicians

What It Takes:
Interest in live event production (not studio or broadcast)
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to lift 50lbs
Availability to travel for a week at a time
Willingness to work long days for event duration (typically 4-6 days/event)
Willingness to work at least 4 events throughout the season

What You+rsquo;ll Get:
$200/event day
