POSITION SUMMARY:

The Properties Supervisor is responsible for the procurement, budgeting. and building of all properties for the DeSales Act 1 season. They will also supervise the student props practicum and assist in the facilitation of the scene shop practicum. This position includes mentoring student leaders on student projects. The maintenance and organization of the props storage area as well as the occasional rental of properties to outside organizations.


QUALIFICATIONS:
+bull; Undergraduate degree required; graduate-level degree preferred
+bull; Excellent organizational, communication, budgetary, and interpersonal skills required.
+bull; Experience in all aspects of properties construction (stitching, carpentry, upholstery, painting, etc.) required, experience in welding ideal
+bull; Periodic weekend and weeknight availability required
