The Scenic Production Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in our Rockville, MD office and warehouse. This position oversees the planning, fabrication, installation, and dismantling of custom scenic elements, exhibits, displays, staging, and environmental builds for live events. Working closely with our Creative, Project Management, Warehouse, and Production teams, the Scenic Production Manager transforms creative concepts into practical, high-quality builds while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.

This is a hands-on role that combines scenic fabrication, shop management, crew leadership, and field production. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day scenic shop operations, supervising warehouse and freelance crews, coordinating production schedules, maintaining quality and safety standards, sourcing materials, supporting estimating and project planning, troubleshooting production challenges, and serving as Crew Chief during on-site installations and dismantles. The role also contributes to warehouse organization, operational improvements, staff training, and collaboration across departments to ensure exceptional event execution.

This position requires significant on-site presence in Rockville, MD, along with flexibility to travel to venues and production sites and work occasional evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
