The Theatre Costume Assistant/Costume Shop Manager is responsible for assisting the Theatre Instructors with the design, acquisition and construction of costumes and costume related materials for all theatre and film productions during the academic year. They will supervise the students and community volunteers and assist in the maintenance, organization and storage of costume inventory and the selection of supplies for costume production.

High school diploma, or G.E.D, required. Theatre experience and sewing skills(both hand stitching and machine construction) required. Costume crafts and wigs/makeup experience and skills preferred. Must be able to lift and stack objects up to 25 pounds occasionally and frequently exert 10 pounds of force to
lift, carry, push and pull or otherwise move objects.
