Beyond the Door is seeking a local, non-union stage manager for our production. The show has already begun rehearsals, so we are looking for someone to begin immediately.

Compensation:
$1000 for the complete production process from June 30 to August 22, 2026.

Important Dates:
First Rehearsal: June 30, 2026
Technical Rehearsal (10 AM-8 PM): August 15, 2026
Dress Rehearsals (6-10 PM): August 17-20, 2026
Preview Performance (7 PM: August 21, 2026
Public Performances (1 PM and 7 PM): August 22, 2026

Expectations:
Rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-10 PM and Saturdays from 11 AM-1 PM from June 30 to August 13 at Morgan Park Church - 2017 W 110th Pl. Technical rehearsals and performances will take place at New Life Covenant Church - 3400 W Division St. The stage manager is expected to attend all rehearsals and performances.

Ideal applicants will have a background in storefront theater and working with limited resources, as well as experience calling shows in a large theatrical space. There is an assistant stage manager contracted, so we are looking for an SM who is comfortable delegating and managing personnel.
