Pay
$1,800 plus $50/day per diem per week
Join a seasoned touring game show for its FALL 2026 tour. The tour visits Performing Arts Centers, Casinos, and Arenas, with crew and cast traveling on a single bus with a trailer.
Accommodations include individual hotel rooms on off days, with exceptions made for day room stops to accommodate driver hours.
Compensation:
$1,800 weekly as a taxable employee or 1099
$50/day per diem
3 Meals and snacks on all show days.
Responsibilities:
Load in / Load out:
Assist in directing stagehands during load in/out
Lighting and Audio Direction:
This is a lighting/electrics centered role with some audio experience.
This position exists primarily to interface with local lighting and sound operators.
Direct local lighting and sound crews, provide patch and operational information.
Direct lighting focus for even stage and camera lighting coverage.
Work with local operator to set lighting cues.
Call lighting cues during the performance.
Direct the Front of House (FOH) audio mix, providing feedback to the audio engineer to maintain clarity, balance, and overall production value.
Lighting/Sound Proficiencies and Requirements:
Proficiency in communicating shows vision with local operators
Ability to make aesthetic judgements about light and sound and communicate that constructively to local operators.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Ability to maintain and troubleshoot small theatrical lighting and power distribution systems.
General Duties:
Other duties as assigned by the Producers or General Manager.
Maintain a drug-free workplace.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Experience and Communication:
Prior touring experience required
Experience in performing arts center/theater environments.
Experience calling theatrical cues is a plus.
Typical Daily Schedule (Load In/Out):

Venue access: 8:30am
Load in: 10am - 2pm
Rehearsal: 3pm-5:30pm
Show: 7:30pm +ndash; 9:30pm
Load out: 9:30pm - Midnight
Bus call: Typically, 1am after all crew and cast have showered.
Daily Tasks Include:
Participate in morning staff meetings.
Direct lighting focus during setup and performance.
Direct Audio crew during setup and performance.
Call cues during performance
Provide direction to FOH audio to optimize the overall sound experience.
Setting up/maintain power distro.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced touring environment.
