Description:

The Events Manager plays a critical role at Juilliard, collaborating with multiple teams across campus to coordinate select performances and events in support of the artistic and operational goals of the institution. This role works to supply each assigned event with appropriate resources from various producing departments, all while maintaining goals of excellence and creativity.

This role is distinguished in coordinating the technical, physical, and operational needs of unique Juilliard events ranging from performances, lectures, recitals, presentations, panels, speaker series, donor events, artist showcases, and more.

This role manages the cross-departmental collaboration for site-specific work by initiating production planning, event walk-throughs, communications, and development of event schedules for relevant producing teams including Recital Operations, Media Production, Information Technology, Box Office, Apprentices, and more.



The annual salary range for this role is $75,000-78,000.

Role Responsibilities:

Intake, process, and manage event requests assigned in venues across campus.
Collaborate with relevant departments to organize events within operational resources.
Identify and anticipate requirements of each event and work towards creating solutions to achieve success.
Create production plans, schedule walk-throughs, and communicate event details based on requirements and resources.
Act as main point of contact between producing entity and relevant teams working on each unique event.
Manage logistics clearly and concisely for multiple projects simultaneously.
Schedule and run meetings with internal and external stakeholders to set standards of excellence and collectively work towards shared goals of excellence, creativity, and artistry.
Identify any potential risks associated with an event and bring to the attention of supervisor to help review, remedy, or address potential challenges.
Attend all assigned performances and events to assess strategy, be available to stakeholders, and assist as needed.
Gather and analyze post-event feedback to continually inform best approach to future events.


Minimum Requirements:
