The Production Manager oversees all technical and backstage operations for Sangamon Auditorium, a 1,735-seat performing arts venue at the University of Illinois Springfield that presents professional touring productions including Broadway musicals, concerts, comedians, and other live events. Responsibilities include event production management, technical advancement, staff supervision, budgeting, equipment maintenance, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all backstage activities. This position serves as the Auditorium+rsquo;s Chief Safety Officer, developing and enforcing safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with University and OSHA standards, and supporting the successful presentation of touring, campus, and community events.
