About the Production
The Sunkicks: Home for the Holidays is a high-energy, Broadway-style Christmas spectacular built around precision dance, powerhouse vocals, immersive video design, and holiday magic. Inspired by the grand tradition of classic American Christmas entertainment, the production combines a Rockettes-style precision kickline with a heartfelt original holiday story, contemporary production elements, and some of the season+rsquo;s most beloved music.
The production features a company of professional dancers, singers, and touring technicians performing in a fast-paced, visually driven theatrical experience designed for performing arts centers and major entertainment venues.
This is a non-union national tour running November through December 2026 with routing currently planned through Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado. The tour is designed as a collaborative, team-oriented road environment with a lean but highly professional crew structure, modern automated show systems, strong production values, and an experienced producing team with a long history of successful live entertainment operations.
The Sunkicks: Home for the Holidays is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Radio City Music Hall, the Rockettes, or any related organization or production.
Position Summary
Seeking an Audio / Video Support Tech to support backstage audio and video operations, LED wall systems, RF coordination, and technical troubleshooting during performances.
Responsibilities
-Maintain and troubleshoot LED wall and video playback systems
-Monitor video processors, signal flow, and playback integrity
-Execute backstage audio support responsibilities including:
-Wireless mic maintenance
-Battery management
-Mic swaps and troubleshooting
-RF coordination support
-Assist Audio Lead with setup, line checks, and strike
-Support lighting/video integration during load-in
-Assist with cable management, system checks, and technical troubleshooting across departments as
needed
-Assist with truck pack, cable management, and loading/unloading of touring systems
Qualifications
-Experience with theatrical video systems and/or LED walls preferred
-Familiarity with wireless audio systems and RF coordination
-Strong troubleshooting ability under pressure
-Comfortable working across multiple technical disciplines
-Touring experience preferred
Touring Expectations
All touring personnel are expected to actively participate in daily load-ins, strikes, truck loading/unloading, and general production setup and teardown. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced touring environment and assisting across departments as needed to support efficient daily operations.
Experience driving 26+rsquo; box trucks is a plus. This position may participate in shared driving responsibilities on select tour legs as needed.
Compensation + Tour Details
-Competitive weekly salary based on experience
-Starting at $750/wk
-Travel and touring accommodations provided
-Additional tour support and per diem available depending on position and routing
-Non-union national tour

-Tour routing designed with no overnight trave between performance cities whenever possible
