$1,403 per credit hour bimonthly
The Hartt School at the University of Hartford is now accepting applications for part-time, adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate courses in the Theatre Division in Set Construction for the Fall 2026 semester beginning August 16, 2026. Part-time faculty are hired from the School's pool of applicants on a semester-by-semester basis.
Required Qualifications: Knowledge of carpentry practices with an emphasis on standard theatrical techniques; versed in safety procedures and equipment; able to work with, and demonstrate the proper use of, hand and power tools; minimum of two (2) years teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications: College-level teaching experience; experience working with non-traditional and diverse students; familiarity with classroom technology and learning management systems; proficient computer skills and Microsoft applications knowledge.
