Pay

$400 per show day, $18/hour for rehearsals

The Jury Experience is a 60-minute scripted play presented as a live courtroom trial. The audience serves as the jury, and the show features alternative endings based on their verdict.

Because this production has performed successfully around the world, our Stage Manager position is very unique. The Stage Manager is more closely responsible for learning the production and technical decisions that have already been made, rather than mapping them out from scratch. The Stage Manager will jump into this fast-paced role after reviewing materials and being trained on Mentimeter software directly by producers.

Key Responsibilities + Overview
Review all technical materials, including images, videos, and sound assets prior to joining the rehearsal process / first performance.
Analyze call scripts and cue sheets to familiarize yourself with cues.
Download QLAB file and ensure it+rsquo;s working properly.
Lead the tech process on-site during launch day and future performances to ensure lighting, sound, and projections are set and ready to go.
Call the lighting cues, and operate the QLAB computer, executing the cues to the standards of the show.
Troubleshoot last-minute technical issues to maintain a smooth production.
Coordinate with the front of house team and producers to ensure shows run on schedule.
Communicate with the producers if any issues arise; complete the Performance Report following each performance.
Run the Mentimeter Voting software from a web browser on your computer, ensuring the audience voting system is running properly throughout the show.
Communicate voting results with the Event Lead and coordinate the handing off of the results to the Judge actor.
Coordinate and manage printed materials required for each show date as needed.
Ensure the run of the show is properly implemented and adhered to.

Qualifications
Macbook Laptop for running QLab required for rehearsal hours + performances.
QLab experience / knowledge; ability to import and edit files, and run cues.
Previous Stage Management or similar technical theatre experience.
Ability to lead technicians in set up and lead technical rehearsals, ensuring all technical needs are met prior to doors open.
