Vero Beach Theatre Guild is the longest running community theatre on the treasure coast.

We are looking for a Costumer for the Mainstage shows of our season which include:
Cry-Baby The Musical
Steel Magnolias
Come From Away
A Christmas Carol The Musical (A partial remount)
Mame
Noises Off

The Costumer will design/pull together the 6 shows, using existing stock, purchasing, and building special pieces as needed, working with the volunteer team. Build requirements are minimal.

Responsibilities also include maintaining and laundering costumes as necessary and maintaining the organization of the costume shop.

Budgets are typically between $500 - $2000 per show depending on the production

Skills needed- Knowledge of sewing, sewing machine use, Costume design, willing to do some era research for shows, 40 hours work time for each show, after PSM relates dates of needed items for show dress rehearsals, fittings, etc, attend production meetings, travel reimbursement for driving to get, purchase, borrow and return items for other theatres or store , willing to work with volunteers provided to assist them.

There are also a few dedicated timelines dates and production meetings to attend.
