Harand Camp of the Theatre Arts, an established musical theater camp for ages 7-18 located at Carthage College in Kenosha, is seeking one staff-level Accompanist or combined Accompanist/Vocal Music Director to join our team for our Summer 2026. We are seeking someone available for our Second Camp Session: July 12-August 2, 2026. This is a staff-level position that pays ~$400-$600 per week (based on experience / job responsibilities), plus full room and board on a college campus (including a private suite with bathroom and 3 meals per day, valued an additional ~$600+/week).

This individual would accompany two musicals during our 3-week second session (one with elementary/middle schoolers and one with high schoolers). They play piano for singing and dance classes and teach vocal music (collaboratively with our theater staff). They also play evening rehearsals and final performances, as well as for camper and staff concerts and other special events as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
*Excellent sight reading is a must
*Ability to teach, co-teach, or assist with vocal music
*Familiarity with musical theater scores
*Experience working with young people *Demonstrated ability to accompany musicals, vocalists and/or ensembles
*Performance or accompaniment samples will be requested
*Advanced training in music or education preferred (or comparable experience)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
*Must be 18+ (out of high school!)
*Preferably 21+ and out of college with experience teaching/directing young performers
*Excellent with kids of all ages
*High energy + flexible in a fast-paced environment
*Strong leadership + team-building skills
*Positive attitude, common sense, and sound judgment
*Sincere desire to be a role model for children
