Variety Arts Management (VAM) is seeking an experienced Production Stage Manager for a residency production of the new POMP, SNOW + CIRQUEumstance (PSC) Spectacular Live Show in Nashville, TN this holiday season.

POMP, SNOW + CIRQUEumstance is an immersive theatrical experience inspired by the 20+ award-winning children's book series by Neil Goldberg - Broadway director, author, and original founder of Cirque Dreams before its acquisition by Cirque du Soleil.

The story follows three best friends - Pomp, Snow, and Cirqueumstance - who study music, magic, and circus at a secret university before sharing their talents and holiday adventures with the world. This brand-new production features cutting-edge technology, aerial and circus acts, magic, elaborate costuming, and innovative stagecraft.

Directed by Neil Goldberg and his creative team, the show is poised for future productions and a Broadway engagement.

We are looking for a highly skilled and adaptable Stage Manager who thrives in fast-paced creative environments. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, exceptional multitasker, and strong leader who can navigate the unique challenges of a live theatrical production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage a company of approximately 35 performers and crew.
- Call all show cues and maintain a cue/blocking book during the creation process.
- Uphold the artistic integrity of the production and the director's vision.
- Lead all rehearsals and training sessions with the design team.
- Generate daily rehearsal and show reports.
- Oversee load-in and load-out logistics.
- Manage daily operations, including call times, warm-ups, and special accommodations.
- Coordinate press events and VIP experiences alongside Company Manager.
- Supervise department heads (lighting, sound, video, automation, wardrobe, crew, etc.).

Required Qualifications:

- 3+ years of professional Stage Management experience.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think on your feet.
- A positive attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-energy creative environment.
