Job description:
New Theatre + Restaurant in Overland Park, KS has an immediate need for an experienced Scenic Carpenter to join our production shop staff for 6-8 weeks. Prior experience in scenic Carpentry field is ideal. (The shop is in KC MO / the theatre is in OP KS)

This temporary position will assist with the implementation of the artistic and creative concerns of the designers and the directors using practical, workable solutions and procedures as assigned by the Technical Director or other supervisory personnel.

+bull; Set construction and painting of scenic elements of each production as set forth by the Technical Director.

+bull; Assists other shop crew in completion of tasks if needed. Assists in the load out of the current production and the load in of the set for the incoming production.
