Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) in New Hope, Pennsylvania seeks to expand our list of A1 substitute crew.

Sub A1s may be called in to assist with main stage show runs, tech processes, Visiting Artist Series (concerts), and other audio work calls. Dates vary based on the overall production calendar. No housing provided, must have reliable transportation to the theater.

Specific duties will be assigned by the Audio Supervisor and/or Assistant Audio Supervisor and will vary based on the call. They may include (but are not limited to):
- Run the A1 mix track of any main stage show as needed
- Shadowing and learning the show mix
- Running preshow setup; including speaker checks, mic checks, midi checks, and line checks for band
- Troubleshooting audio issues related to speakers, mics, misc. gear (including but not limited to CL5, Rios, QLab show computer, Dante networking, Shure/Sennheiser wireless systems, patchbay, L-Acoustics speakers/Network Manager)

An ideal candidate will:
- Have experience and knowledge in theatrical line mixing, Yamaha consoles and systems, Dante networking, L-Acoustics speaker systems, QLab, wireless microphone systems (Shure and Sennheiser), audio setup, and troubleshooting
- Be able to quickly learn and replicate a mix to the best of ability
- Be able to effectively communicate needs and questions while learning a mix and show track
- Work well in group settings
- Be eager to learn and lend a hand

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment. Handling audio equipment with care. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by production schedules.

Payment is remitted biweekly.
