Theatre By The Sea (TBTS) is seeking a Wig Maintenance / Runner for its 2026 summer season. This position supports the Wardrobe and Costume teams in maintaining wigs and assisting with backstage operations throughout a four-show musical season.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced theatre environment.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with daily wig maintenance, including cleaning, styling, and presetting
- Support quick changes and backstage operations during performances as needed
- Track wig condition and communicate maintenance needs to the Costume Shop
- Assist with wig organization, storage, and labeling
- Run errands between the theatre and rehearsal spaces as needed
- Support general costume and backstage needs during tech and performances

Qualifications
- Experience with wigs, hair styling, or costume/wig departments preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license preferred

Schedule + Commitment
- Seasonal position aligned with the 2026 summer production schedule
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Additional hours during technical rehearsals and changeovers
- Local hire preferred
