The Role:
Studio Santo is seeking a dependable part-time Box Truck Driver to join our production team. In this role you will be responsible for safely driving and operating a box truck dropping off and picking up gear from event locations across NYC.

Responsibilities:
Safely operate box trucks for regional deliveries and pick ups by adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Safely transport gear to event locations
Conduct a safety check of the truck cabin and truck load to ensure a balanced and safe pack
Operate the lift gate and is expected to help load and offload gear and equipment on and off the truck
Conduct pre-trip and post trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
Collaborate with warehouse staff and production staff to coordinate loadings, pickups, and returns to ensure smooth operations
For days with multiple location deliveries of gear, ensure correct gear is delivered to the correct location with the use of the associated Pull Sheet and job color coding

Requirements:
Have a valid Driver's License (CDL is a plus, but not required)
Experience with driving 16' and 18' box trucks in New York City
Strong knowledge of driving safety protocols and traffic laws
Ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform manual tasks moving, packing and securing items such as road cases and equipment
Familiarity with route driving, load + unload procedures and warehouse operations
Ability adapt quickly to changing schedules
Ability to be flexible with you time while driving, days can vary from 7 - 12 hours
