The SymphoNYChorus is a nonprofit interdenominational Christian choir and orchestra. We are looking for a lighting designer for our Nautically themed spring concert on May 30th and 31st. The repertoire is secular and you do not have to be Christian to apply! Some details below:
Stipend: $600, food fully provided on May 30th, snacks on May 31st
Dates: Saturday May 30th 9am or 10am-8pm, Sunday May 31st 2:30-8pm (there is some wiggle room on these times)
Location: 308 W 46th St, St. Luke's Lutheran Church, New York, NY
Responsibilities: help set up and strike lighting equipment on concert days, build lighting cues, operate lighting during our two shows. We do own some gear and a DMX system, but we do not have a board or software. There is a small budget for any necessary additional rentals.
