About Your Compensation

Compensation for this salaried position is $1,200/week for up to 13 weeks (starting in June). 

Pre-season: Part-time work will be remote and begins in early January. Compensation for the pre-season work will be $30.00/Hour. 

Chautauqua Theater Company also provides up to $250 in travel reimbursement with receipts provided. Housing is provided for the duration of your time on grounds.

About Your Work Day

Oversees the management of the costume shop and wardrobe departments.
Responsible for the safe construction of costumes.
Manages the costume shop budgets.
Will build the Costume Shop schedule.
Responsible for the acquisition of materials.
Attends production meetings, designer runs, technical rehearsals.
Works closely with directors, production manager, designers, design fellows, and all department heads.
Coordinate fittings with the production stage manager, designers, design fellow, and shop foreman.
Oversees the costume load-in and strike.
Coordinating proper dry cleaning of costumes
Manages the return of any items rented.
