Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre is currently seeking artists + technicians of diverse disciplines to apply for Production positions with our company. Our production team will mount 3 productions during the season, with a compensation package tailored to their roles, including complimentary housing within easy walking distance of the theatre. Fresh, clean mountain air, and some of the coldest water you have ever felt...also included with every contract.

We are seeking experienced theatrical professionals to come join our team. Applicants should possess a strong work ethic, technical skills specific to their discipline, and a strong commitment to collaboration. Professionalism and dedication to high-quality work are essential.


PROJECTIONS DESIGNER (SEEKING ONE) for 2 (of our 3) summer productions:
Start/End Date: May 25 - June 19, 2026 (negotiable)
Compensation: $2000 per show. 2 shows. $4000 for total job.

Reports To: Production Manager

Primary Responsibilities
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
-Work closely with Scenic Designer and the Creative teams for +ldquo;Shrek+rdquo; and for +ldquo;Dirty Rotten Scoundrels+rdquo;
-Responsible for all aspects of Projections.
-Content creation in strong collaboration with Scenic Designer + Directors.
-All programming and editing.
-Read and interpret renderings and elevations
-Learn about projectors and equipment owned by RMRT, to effectively use upon arrival.
-Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with industry and company safety standards.

Required Skills and Experience:
-Previous experience as Projections Designer and programmer.
-Strong knowledge of theatrical projection design techniques.
-Ability to interpret designer renderings and translate artistic concepts into practical execution.
-Strong artistic sensibility combined with practical problem-solving skills.
-Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
-Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices.
-Ability to lift, climb, and work on ladders or elevated surfaces as needed.
