STAGES St. Louis, a professional musical theatre company entering our 40th season, is seeking Production Staff to join our 2026 Season. The Season, which runs from May through October, consists of three large-scale musicals: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Guys and Dolls, and Come from Away. Start and End dates depend on each individual position. All seasonal positions are paid bi-weekly on Fridays. Although limited, housing is available on a first come first serve basis. PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
STAGES St. Louis is looking for a Production Coordinator for our 2026 season. Start and end dates are flexible, generally from March to September.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Required duties
a. Process, allocate, and approve all production shop payroll.
b. Collaborate with department heads to manage/track production budgets and credit card reconciliations.
c. Perform orientation for seasonal staff members, including review of employee handbook and guidelines of Stages.
d. Contract, assign and respond to needs with crew housing.
e. Assist with processing workman+rsquo;s compensation related injuries.
f. Schedule and coordinate meetings.
g. Attend all design, production, staff, and other meetings as requested; take and distribute meeting notes.
h. Maintain and distribute master production calendar and tech calendars.
i. Create seasonal staff contact sheets, schedules, calendars, and other relevant paperwork, and distribute appropriately.
j. Maintain company vehicle needs for Production, including rentals, up-keep, security, and operation for the production vehicles and any rental truck needs.
k. Oversee all necessary purchasing, exchanging, and returns.
l. Handle arrangement of crew meals for any rehearsals/performances as needed.
m. Be available to assist with any urgent production issues that may unexpectedly arise, particularly during the Season.
n. Work Stages ancillary events when needed.
o. Act as swing technician in emergencies as needed.

Working conditions may include nights and weekends, and some overtime as needed. Ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders and stairs, and work at heights. A moderate degree of physical ability is associated with production positions, including the ability to lift and move up to 70lbs. Must be able to safely operate a fly system as well as have knowledge of properly knotting ropes. Wearing and or using personal protective equipment is required. May be required to drive a company cargo van and 26' box truck.
