The John W. Engeman Theater is currently seeking a LOCAL ATD. We are looking for technicians and carpenters with experience in Carpentry and Lighting. Having experience in additional theatrical departments is a plus. We have shows running all year around. Candidates will be working in our scenic shop in Ronkonkoma as well as a 400 seat Proscenium theater.

Qualifications:
- Advanced Stagecraft and carpentry skills
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights
- Experience using power tools
- Ability to take direction from TD
- MUST be local to Long Island or NYC (and have access to a car)

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret designs into practical builds; oversee construction, installation, and strike.
- Lead scene shop operations, maintain inventory, and supervise over-hire staff.
- Work with designers and the TD to achieve creative goals within budget.
