JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Draper will develop patterns and is responsible for cutting all fabric and interlinings, facings, linings, and bias strips. This position will work with the designers and first hand to plan the construction process for each garment. They will provide designers with fabric estimates and have good knowledge of alterations.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
In depth knowledge of theatrical costume design and construction techniques.
Comfortable with alteration techniques
Dedication to maintaining a clean, safe, and productive shop environment.
Familiarity with spreadsheets for budgeting
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
Organized and detail oriented, able to prioritize efficiently and multi-task.
Ability to be self-directed and take initiative.
