Music Theatre Wichita is seeking resumes for some additional Summer 2026 Production Staff positions.

Scenic Art

Electrician/Programmer
Start Date August 4 - September 16

Properties Artisan
Start immediate - September 16th

Compensation

MTWichita offers weekly salaries based on responsibilities:
shop positions starting at $500/week.
Housing is not included, but MTWichita will help with locating housing.

MTWichita employs both seasoned professionals and college students over the summer. In recognizing the academic year, most Shop Heads and Asst. Shop Heads/Supervisors start on or around May 5th based on production needs. All other employees would be expected to join on or around May 22rd. Contract end dates can vary based on an individual basis and the need to return for academic or other obligations. The 2026 season officially closes on September 16th.
