Pay

$750.00/week biweekly

a. Prepare scenery, purchase + mix paint, and paint all scenery according to designer elevations.
b. Help maintain, organize, and repair paint spaces and paint equipment.
c. Assist Paint Charge in developing and maintaining the appropriate levels of inventory and supplies, including base paint, rollers, brushes, specialty tools, tapes, etc.
d. Assist Paint Charge in keeping an ongoing and periodic inventory of equipment and supplies.
e. Help to maintain a clean and organized work space.
f. Provide assistance to Scenic Designer in the execution of their design,
g. Seek opportunities for professional development in scenic painting technology + techniques.
h. Participate in all load-ins and strikes.
i. Provide leadership and professional mentoring to interns and volunteers.
j. Communicate regularly with the Technical Director and Paint Charge regarding responsibilities and needs.
k. Assist other departments as necessary to execute the technical elements of shows.
l. Attend rehearsals, calls, and/or meetings as required.
m. Assist Paint Charge in completing assignments, projects, and any paperwork in a timely manner.
n. Maintain a professional demeanor in appearance, communication, and attitude.
o. Perform other related duties and assignments, as necessary.
