JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Costume Shop Manager will provide management to the costume shop and direct supervision to costume and wardrobe staff. This position will work closely and collaborate with the directors and designers to achieve the design for each of our six shows. The Costume Shop Manager is responsible for maintaining the costume budget and purchasing, construction of costumes and fittings
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- In depth knowledge of theatrical costume design and construction techniques.
- Dedication to maintaining a clean, safe, and productive shop environment.
Communicate production plans and needs with other production areas, other departments within the company, performance venues, and other stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
- Organized and detail oriented, able to prioritize efficiently and multi-task.
- Ability to be self-directed and take initiative.
