Hair/Wig + Make-Up Designer/Supervisor

The Mac-Haydn Theatre in Chatham, NY is seeking a Hair/Wig + Make-up Designer for its upcoming summer 2023 Season. Located just 2 hours north of NYC and nestled between The Catskill Mountains and The Berkshires, Mac-Haydn produces 6 mainstage musicals every summer. Candidates must be very comfortable with the care, styling, and maintenance of lace front wigs of all hair textures, hair styling, and must possess a strong knowledge of theatrical make-up. The Designer will work closely with each production team throughout the summer to execute both contemporary and period specific styles as well as the running of shows with any necessary quick changes. Candidates must be highly motivated and be able to thrive in a fast paced environment. $500.00+ndash;$600.00 weekly, housing, and travel stipend are provided.
