Ohlone College Theatre + Dance Department in Fremont, CA is seeking a Theater Arts Technical Designer (Temporary).
* PAY: $31.54-$40.25/hourly
* SCHEDULE: Full-time, 40 hours per week
* START DATE: February/March 2026
* OPPORTUNITY: This position is full-time hourly and may transition into a permanent full-time salaried role.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Technical Theatre Specialist provides skilled technical support for the Theatre + Dance Department by constructing stage sets, props, and special effects; operating and maintaining sound and lighting equipment; and assisting with cost estimates, inventory management, and safety compliance. The Specialist supports all aspects of theater production and instruction, ensuring smooth operation of scene shops, stages, and technical equipment.
