Mile Square Theatre is in search of a scenic artist for our upcoming production of The Young King, to be performed in our Main Stage space. Responsibilities include providing all paint treatments and finishes for the onstage scenery, as well as possible treatments in auxiliary / lobby spaces as part of the immersive design of the play. Scenic artist will work closely with the scenic designer and their assistant, properties artist (as needed) and the production manager to help fully execute the scenic design. Tech is on Saturday 02/14 and Sunday 02/15, and the first performance is on Wednesday, 02/18. Dates and hours are flexible and will be scheduled in coordination with the production manager, also based on workspace availability.
