- For Revivals, Re-create Music Direction + Harmonies as set in Jaxx+rsquo;s +ldquo;model+rdquo; production (please reference staff video Dropbox)
- For Premiere Productions, set all music direction + harmonies within the show as discussed and decided with the Artistic Director and/or Director.
- Learn the music prior to rehearsals with kids and keep record of all harmonies taught.
- Record harmonies and upload to Dropbox
- Ensure ALL Music Direction + Harmonies are taught prior to tech week.
- Child wrangling and assisting in making sure kids are quiet and productive.
- Supervise breaks.
- Arriving 15 minutes before classes begin at school/site for prep.
- Staying up to 15 minutes after class to supervise dismissal of students and complete class report.
- Ensuring that your team+rsquo;s class report is submitted by you or a member of your team ideally within the 15 minute post class student pick up time or within 24 hours of class end time.
- Maintaining the Dropbox (anything pertaining to the music), adding sound cues, creating/editing additional/new tracks, key changes, etc.
- Responsible for working with the Director for any sides/lyrics or other material pick-up.
- Responsible for working with the Director for script pick-up, assembly and distribution during the Casting Ceremony.
- Obtaining a sub if you are not able to make a shift and ensuring the sub is given full details regarding the lesson plan for the day if you are absent. If it is a planned absence, please make sure your shift is covered within 72 hours of your scheduled shift. Please notify a member of the Jaxx Executive Team of the coverage.
- Responding to ALL Jaxx emails within 48 business hours.
- Additional help as needed.
- Other tasks, as assigned.
