SCENIC INTERN (Hiring 2)
Intern 1 Date: May 18, 2026 +ndash; September 7, 2026; Travel Dates: May 17 + September 8th
Intern 1 Stipend: $4,160 for 15 weeks + travel, room, and all meals
Intern 2 Date: May 18, 2026 - August 21, 2026; Travel Dates: May 17 + August 22nd
Intern 2 Stipend: $3,640 for 14 weeks + travel, room, and all meals
Reports to: Technical Director, Assistant Technical Director, and Production Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Assist in the construction and implementation of all scenic elements, as well as shop maintenance and upkeep for the Barn+rsquo;s brand-new scene shop.
- Contribute heavily to build, installation, and strike for each set throughout the season.
- Serve as an alternating run crew on an as needed basis.
- Assist in overnight paint calls on a rotation basis.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicants need at least 1-2 years+rsquo; theatrical shop experience.
- Painting experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. safely with assistance.
- Valid driver's license preferred, but not required.
