Compensation: $5,833 for 16 weeks + travel, room, and all meals
Reports to: Production Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Sound engineer and operate sound console for all main stage productions.
- Install equipment/cabling for all shows at the top of season, which includes playback, mixers, amps, microphones, video cameras and monitors for conductor stage shots.
- Coordinate and lead audio installs, - Work with Music Directors on sound needs, including acquisition through Production Management, pit set up and maintenance.
- Maintain Clear-Com system and equipment.
- Create and manage all show-related sound paperwork.
- Order necessary materials and supplies in a timely manner, while successfully managing show and department budgets.
- Attend and participate in production meetings.
- Train and Supervision of Production Crew Member as assigned and Acting Interns working in the Sound Department.
*A Mainstage Sound Design opportunity OR Junior Intern production may be offered at an additional stipend based on experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 years professional sound experience or equivalent of advanced skills at the college level in sound design, including proficiency with QLab and mixing large musicals.
- Experience with a Yamaha QL5 board is a plus.
- Valid driver+rsquo;s license preferred but not required.
