Georgia Stage is a family-owned theatrical rigging and drapery company with over 30 years of experience serving performing arts venues, schools, churches, and entertainment spaces throughout the Southeast and beyond. We design and install permanent theatrical rigging systems including curtain track, battens, pipe grids, hoists, and fire safety curtains, while also manufacturing custom stage curtains and theatrical drapery in-house. Our team includes ETCP-certified riggers, technical directors, and production professionals with diverse backgrounds in rigging, touring, and technical theater. About the Role
We're looking for a highly organized, self-driven Assistant Project Manager to oversee installation operations for our theatrical rigging projects. You'll manage three installation crews working across local and Southeast regional sites, coordinating schedules, creating technical drawings, and ensuring projects are executed safely and on time. This role requires someone who thrives on solving problems independently while maintaining constant communication with our team.
What You'll Do
+bull; Manage scheduling and logistics for three installation crews across multiple simultaneous projects throughout the Southeast
+bull; Create technical construction submittal drawings in AutoCAD for curtain track, battens, pipe grids, hoists, and related theatrical rigging systems
+bull; Coordinate with clients, general contractors, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution
+bull; Track project deliverables, material orders, and installation progress
+bull; Troubleshoot field issues and make real-time decisions to keep projects on schedule
+bull; Review site conditions and prepare crews with accurate information and materials
+bull; Maintain detailed project documentation and communication

Required Qualifications
+bull; Proven experience managing installation crews or project coordination in construction, fabrication, AV, exhibits, or related technical fields
+bull; Advanced AutoCAD proficiency with ability to create professional construction drawings
+bull; Experience coordinating logistics across multiple sites and teams simultaneously
+bull; Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally as needed
+bull; Comfortable working in construction environments including heights and job sites
Preferred Qualifications
+bull; Background in theatrical technical direction, rigging, or entertainment technology
+bull; ETCP certification or theatrical rigging experience
+bull; Familiarity with theatrical equipment and venues
+bull; Experience with project management software
