Co-Audio Supervisor:
The historic Cape Playhouse in Dennis, MA, the oldest continuously operating summer theater in America, is accepting resumes for a Co-Audio Supervisor for our 2026 Summer Season which includes 5 mainstage productions to be announced at a later date, two concerts, and various smaller events throughout the summer. The rate for this position is $22.00/hour paid bi-weekly. This is a full time position with opportunity for overtime after 40 hrs a week.
This contract begins part time remotely as early as April 6, 2026, and full time on Cape Cod starting on May 4th, 2026 and ends on October 4, 2026.

The Co-Audio Supervisor reports to the Production Manager.
The Co-Audio Supervisor will assist in the creation of the season audio rental. Along with their co-supervisor, they are responsible for maintaining the season audio rental package and working with sound designers to determine the additional rental needs of each production. The Audio Supervisor team will alternate serving as A1 on each mainstage show throughout the season. On shows they are not mixing, the Co-Supervisor will serve as Production Audio and work on advancing the next show. They will prep, hang and focus all sound systems. They will maintain efficient contact with sound designers for each show in the weeks prior to load-in, and with the sound system designer for the duration of the summer. The Audio Supervisors oversee the audio team in all load-ins, strikes, and tech rehearsals for mainstage productions, as well as other Playhouse productions as assigned by the Production Manager including galas, concerts, and education department shows.
Applicant must have excellent communication skills and be a team player. At least 2 years of professional experience is required. Skillset should include front of house mixing for plays and musicals with live musicians (orchestra sizes up to 10), audio troubleshooting including coms, wired, and wireless mics, system install, network engineering, wireless frequency management, and the ability to lead a team of relevant staff and apprentices. The Audio Supervisor must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting, bending, standing, climbing.
