The Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville, TN +ndash; Is hiring an experienced Lighting Supervisor (Master Electrician) to join the fulltime staff. The Playhouse is the oldest regional theater in the state of TN just having celebrated our 60th season. We have two indoor spaces +ndash; a 462 seat Mainstage and a 231 seat Black Box, we are also fortunate enough to have an outdoor space. The Playhouse is a year around theater and this season will be producing 10 shows, 1 dance production, 1TYA productions, 5 indoor mainstage concerts and 3 Speakeasy Adv. concerts from February - December. The Lighting Supervisor is responsible for leading the electrics department in executing the approved lighting designs for all Playhouse productions and events. The position is very often just one person except during tech weeks. The Lighting Supervisor should expect to work some nights and weekends as the schedule requires. We work on a six-day show schedule with Monday being the designated day off except during tech weeks. It is expected during non tech weeks to do repairs, maintenance and other shop duties as needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Communicate with lighting designers prior to arrival to ensure that all designs are completed within deadlines
Attend production meetings
Hang and circuit all lighting as designed by Lighting Designer but be understanding of changes
Execute wiring for electrified and battery-operated practical+rsquo;s and props
Execution of all lighting and atmospheric special effects
Program ETC Ion Light board during technical rehearsals as needed
Collaborate with the Sound department on projection-related needs (Lighting takes the lead on projections)
Design, program and run Ion board for all concerts and special events
Ensure the integrity of all lighting elements before each performance
Maintain and update all cue lights, work lights and backstage lights
Maintain and repair all electrics inventory
Maintain daily check list of moving man lift
Provide lighting support for events scheduled outside of our own facilities
All other duties as assigned by Producing Director and Technical Producer

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years lighting experience as ME or equivalent, including experience working on multiple productions with fast-paced timelines and limited budgets.
Ability to coordinate and implement lighting designs
Advanced knowledge of the ETC Ion, ETC Dimmers, Qlab, and Vectorworks.
Proficiency in DMX, LED Tape, older patching dimmer units
Proficiency in networking and troubleshooting all types lighting control systems.
Confidently and safely operate Genie lifts
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, collaborative, communication and leadership skills.
Ability to ensure proper maintenance and usage of all lighting equipment and hand tools.
Ability to work on ladders, in lifts, and at heights of up to 21+rsquo;
Valid driver+rsquo;s license
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
