The Assistant Director (AD) supports the Show Director by managing the timing, pacing, and overall flow of live productions while operating on-screen graphics in real time. Serving as a central communication hub, the AD tracks the run of show, cues transitions, coordinates with stage and backstage teams, and ensures that visuals+mdash;such as lower thirds, timers, titles, and slides+mdash;are executed accurately and on cue. This role requires strong organization, calm decision-making under pressure, and seamless collaboration across production crews to maintain a polished, professional experience. Success is demonstrated through smooth pacing, precise graphics delivery, aligned on-site teams, and a consistently high-quality show experience for clients, talent, and participants.
