POSITION SUMMARY:
The Digital Marketing Assistant is a key member of STNJ's staff. The creative work of this individual must be able to represent the organization in conjunction with the vision of the Artistic Director and the guidance of the Director of Marketing. Collaboration is key, and a passion for and a background in the arts is preferred. Given the fast pace and wide variety of programs, the Assistant must have the ability to execute impactful digital marketing materials, including short-form videos and social media content, in a consistent and timely fashion.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
■ Work closely with Director of Marketing to execute STNJ+rsquo;s short-term and long-term
marketing strategies which include the marketing needs of all departments
■ Create and maintain a consistent production and distribution schedule in regards to digital and/or social media content; and obtaining approval from Director of Marketing
■ Aid in seeking new media coverage opportunities, including social media influencer collaborations
■ Aid Director of Marketing in scheduling and executing all interviews, photo shoots, video recordings, etc.
■ Maintain website design, frequently updating pages, event listings, photos and videos; troubleshoot with website developer as needed
■ Some evening and weekend work is necessary for specific theatre events, including Opening Nights, community events, and engagement programs

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
■ Prior experience working in not-for-profit arts marketing is preferred
■ High proficiency in Photoshop and InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects
■ Knowledge of Carbonhouse, HTML/CC, and DotDigital; experience with these programs is beneficial
■ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
■ Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and goal-driven environment
■ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
■ Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word for Windows, Excel, and
desktop publishing software

COMPENSATION:
Pay range for this position is $38,000-$42,000 with benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, life
insurance, and paid time off. Full-time, on-site.
