- Work to prepare appropriate audition materials to properly evaluate future cast members
- Attend and facilitate auditions and callbacks from January 27 - January 30th to cast the show appropriately
- Create an overall vision (aligned with the materials provided) for the production, including ideas for costumes, set, sound, and additional areas as needed
- Attend and facilitate all rehearsals, tech week, performances, etc. as listed in the +ldquo;Time and Date Commitment+rdquo; section above. Ensure that each rehearsal runs smoothly
- Provide professional age and experience appropriate instruction to cast members to ensure they have a positive, rewarding experience
- Establish the production team along with Arts + Education Coordinator for all necessary leadership roles to create structure and balance for the direction and execution of the play
- Work alongside Stage Manager, Costume Designer, Set Designer (and all other leadership roles) cohesively to ensure vision of play comes to life
- Constructively handle any actor-related issues throughout the rehearsal process, facilitate conversations with the Art and Education Coordinator for any additional support
- Regularly communicate needs to Arts + Education Coordinator including weekly updates, communications for cast, parents, etc.
- Help ensure that The Homestead and any rehearsal space are clean and organized post rehearsal
- Pass a background check

Time and Date Commitment
- Auditions to be held Jan. 27 and Jan. 29 from 4 to 7 p.m.
- Callbacks to be held on Friday, Jan. 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. (as needed)
Callback auditions from 4-to 5:30 p.m., casting meeting from 5:30 to7 p.m.
- Rehearsals from 4 to 6:30 p.m. from Feb. 10 to April 16 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Directors should be available a minimum of 30 minutes before and after rehearsals or as needed.
- Tech Week rehearsals from April 19 to April 29, TIME TBD
- Performances April 30 to May 3, TIME TBD
- Strike May 4, TIME TBD
