Summary:
The Head Video Technician oversees all video operations for Miracle on 34th St. on tour, including video wall assembly, programming, and show execution. This role ensures all video elements are installed safely, programmed accurately, and maintained efficiently throughout the production.

Responsibilities:

Lead all video-related operations during load-in, tech, performances, and load-out.

Assemble, hang, and strike video walls according to the production+rsquo;s plot and touring needs.

Program and operate media content using Resolume Arena.

Troubleshoot video wall issues, including signal flow, mapping, LED panel faults, cabling, and network/distribution challenges.

Maintain all video equipment and ensure consistent image quality and playback reliability.

Oversee and direct assistant video techs and local crew as needed.

Coordinate with lighting, sound, and scenic departments for integrated cues and power needs.

Ensure all video components meet safety and power distribution requirements.

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency with Resolume.

Demonstrated experience assembling and operating touring LED video walls.

Solid troubleshooting skills with LED panels, processors, signal flow, and networking.

Understanding of basic power distribution (208v/120v splits, phase balancing, cable runs).

Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced load-in and load-out environments.

Strong communication skills and comfort leading small crews.

Touring experience preferred but not required.

Compensation: 1000-1200/week DOE + $45/day per diem
